Gwent Construction Training Group was established in 1988 on behalf of the local construction industry.  The Group is currently comprised of 62 member companies with the potential to expand and include other likeminded organisations.

Apprenticeships

An apprenticeship framework is based around an NVQ (National Vocational Qualification). These qualifications are developed and approved by people who work in the industry, and are designed to measure workers’ practical skills and job knowledge by assessing their work on-site.

Gwent Construction Training Group AGM - Another successful AGM last night, hosted by Gwent Construction Training Group.  Thank you to everyone that came along.
Green Card Changes - From 1st July the green Construction Site Operative (CSO) card will no longer be issued.  There will be a new green CSCS card only available for people working in labouring occupations.
